Weekend Mani: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Bittersweet

3.27.2011

Check out my manicure from Friday. The polish is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Bittersweet. I love this color, a rich, super dark chocolate brown. Bittersweet was a part of the Fall 2010 color collection. This will be my last dark mani for the season, time to lighten up for spring.

Taken after nails were dry with my BB Camera
Taken a few hours later. Added one of my favorite cocktail rings.

I wonder if I could get a side hustle as a hand model. I should look into that... Anyway, Sally Hansen Complete Manicure is the drugstore equivalent to the salon brands in my opinion. When the new collections hit the stores, grab them because once they are gone, it is impossible to find them! I still have been unable to find ANY of the Tracy Reese collection.

Disclosure: This post is based on a product that I received for consideration by the company.

Sinful Colors Saturday Mani

3.15.2010

Saturday's manicure: Sinful Colors in Daddy's Girl. In the bottle you see a dark sparkly purple however the color on my nails was not as dark as I had hoped for.
Sinful Colors nail polish is only $1.99 at Walgreens. This was my first time trying the nail polish and I have to be honest, the formula is very thin. Day two of this manicure and the color is already fading from the tips of my nails. Even the nail tech commented on the quality, saying it was very watery . Sinful Colors is definitely no competition for OPI, Essie, or Zoya. It took three coats to achieve the a color somewhat close to the bottle.

Sometimes you really do get what you pay for and Sinful Colors nail polish gives you exactly $1.99 worth of quality.
